For 13 years New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW) has showcased the creativity and innovation of our hugely talented local designers. As the only international fashion event in New Zealand, year on year we continue to be one of the country’s most anticipated annual events.

New Zealand Fashion Week prides itself on offering a platform to the designers that offers them maximum visibility and international recognition. It is essential that the event reflects the needs of the designer. However, in the current economic climate and an ever-changing market, these needs have changed dramatically since NZFW was first conceived. Much like the industry it represents, NZFW cannot stand still and so for 2013, it is undergoing a significant and very exciting overhaul.

With this in mind, we have developed the format of the event in 2013 to three days trade for Fashion Week and three days consumer public access for Fashion Weekend.
By splitting the event in this way, we are able to provide offerings that target both trade audiences (VIPs, International Delegates, Media and Buyers) and Fashion Weekend audiences (consumers and general public.)
